School Day

Start of the day: 8.50am
Morning break: 10.30 - 10.45am
Lunch Key Stage 1: 12.00 - 1.00pm
Lunch Key Stage 2: 12.15 - 1.00pm 
Key Stage 1 End of school day: 2.55pm
Key Stage 2 End of school day: 3.00pm


Please note school is open from 8.40am each morning when children are allowed into their classrooms. However, the school is not responsible for children before this, so please do not send them to school before 8.40am.

School Office Opening Hours

The school office is open from 8.40am until 3.15pm
All visitors to school should sign in at the office and put on a visitor's badge. The school and all its grounds are strictly in a non-smoking zone! In the interest of hygiene we ask you not to bring dogs into the school grounds. Please do not park on the yellow lines outside the school. Thank You.

Milk Key Stage 1

We offer children in Key Stage 1 milk during the morning break. The cost is 27p per day - £1.35 per week payable in advance in the classroom on a Friday morning. This means that milk paid for on a Friday will be given out the next week. If you miss the payment on the Friday and pay on the Monday milk will be given out on the following week as we have to order the milk we need, in advance.

Tuck Shop Key Stage 2

Tuck shop is available during morning break for the children in Key Stage 2. The children can choose from a selection of fruit, a pure orange juice drink or a box of raisins. Everything costs 10p with a maximum spend per child of 30p. Children are responsible for looking after their own money until break.

Lunch

Key Stage 1: £1.90 per day, £9.50 per week
Key Stage 2: £2.00 per day, £10.00 per week

Dinner money must be paid for in advance. Money should be put in a sealed envelope and given to the class teacher. Children may also choose to bring a packed lunch to school or go home for lunch.

School Nurse

Our school nurse, visits the school on a regular basis. If you have any concerns regarding your child's health please make an appointment to see her.

School Absence

If your Child is absent for any reason please inform the school office on the first day of their absence. If you know in advance that your child will be absent or needs to be collected during the school day please fill in the appropriate form at the school office. Remember the Education Welfare Officer checks our attendance records on a regular basis. If you fail to give the school a reason, the absence will be recorded as unauthorised.

Problems

If you have any problems concerning your child, please make an appointment to see your child's class teacher in the first instance. If you are still unhappy about the situation please make an appointment to see the Headteacher.

If you are experiencing problems with your child's behaviour at home, you can make an appointment to see the Headteacher or ask to speak to our Learning Mentor - Mrs Law. Appointments to see her can be made at the school office.
