The Learning Charter
The staff and children of highlees have agreed to follow our school Learning Charter:
Children will:
Work and play hard
Keep to the task
Be forgiving
Use sensible voice levels
Listen carefully to each other
Take turns to speak
be friendly to each other
Teachers will:
Create a safe and exciting place to be
Make learning fun
Be happy, kind and caring
Wear a big smile each day!
We celebrate our differences, we know we are all special.
After reading The Learning Charter, each class decided to write their own class agreement, so that everyone who came into the class, could read the agreement, know how to treat each other in the class and all work together to make our school a happy place to learn in.
The agreements can also be found on display in each classroom.
