Bringing out the Best

Year 5 Trip to Rutland Water

On Friday 9th May Year 5 visited Rutland Water as part of their topic about water. They were investigating water as a habitat and found out about a lot of wildlife that lives at Rutland water. During the day the children went on a bug hunt, did some pond dipping and went bird watching. We even spotted a rare bird which hadn't been seen at Rutland since 2011! The children has a great day and despite the weather forecast it stayed dry and sunny all day.
