Already the children have taken part in some exciting activities to launch their new topics. Year 1 have had an alien spacehip crash into their classroom, whilst year 2 and year 5 have been on a mini beast hunt together, enjoying our wildlife area. Attendance

As you know attendance is so important, children need to be in school every day on time to ensure they make the best progress they can.  Well done to all the children who received their 100% attendance certificate during Monday’s assembly. We have some very excited children at Highlees; every child who achieved 100% attendance has been invited to my tea party on Friday afternoon. Watch out for pictures!!    

SATS

Over the next two weeks the year 6 children will be taking part in after school boosters, ready for their SATS. I am so very proud of the year 6 children; they are working so hard to get the best possible results they can.  Thank you for your continued support.
