The Highwayman
Year 5 have been learning about The Highwayman. As a celebration of our topic we had the Finger and Thumb theatre company come and perform for us. They did a performance of The Highwayman, as well as showing us some other stories, shadow puppets and other puppets from around the world. It was fascinating to see how many different animals and character Drew could make with his hands! We then got a chance to make our own Highwayman characters using black card and our hands. At the end of the day we each performed a piece of the poem using the shadow puppets we had created.
